The Skirmisher is [...] an occasional magazine that contains [...] new articles, scenarios, player aids, rules errata, and other helpful items have been collected [...]. Importantly, The Skirmisher #1 (published by MMP in 1999) includes: (1) a standardized GCACW Series Rules, to be used with all previous GCACW games published by Avalon Hill (Stonewall Jackson's Way, Here Come the Rebels, Roads to Gettysburg, Stonewall in the Valley, Stonewall's Last Battle, and On to Richmond!); and (2) a countersheet including new Leaders (with modified/new values) to be used along with the new GCACW Series Rules in all previous (Avalon Hill) GCACW games; it also includes replacement army unit counters in particular for Roads to Gettysburg.
