In the winter of 1900, the small, sleepy English village of Ingham, Suffolk, is beset by strange and sinister events. Invited to Chimneypots House for Christmas, the Investigators are tasked with getting the bottom of the mystery, and in doing so may unlock a secret too dreadful to contemplate. The Secret of Chimneypots is a self contained adventure for the Casting the Runes roleplaying game, and acts as a precursor to further adventures in the village of Ingham. Designed for a group of 3-6 characters, it is an ideal starting point for a campaign, set in the very heart of the countryside M.R. James called home.
