From the introduction: The River Rat is a large tavern that is built on the Tarkin River in the Juravian Midlands. The three-story structure has a solid foundation with a small portion of the building situated on the wooden pier that stretches several yards over the river. The pier is supported by stone pylons and the pylons are entangled with netting and ropes. Surrounded by a pine forest on three sides, the River Rat is isolated. There are no roads that connect the inn to any town or city. Liquor, oil, foodstuffs, and other supplies are purchased from barge merchants.
