From the introduction: The Ring of Brodgar is not an actual physical ring or item of jewerly, but was a collection of dwarven adventurers. They adventured up and down the Sword Coast and throughout the Cold Lands for a few centuries. The ring consisted of five dwarves and a strong-willed halfling that the dwarves considered "one of their own". They were led by a fiery, black bearded dwarf named Brodgar Boulderbrow.
