Adventure Background No one has seen the Godhead since the first of its followers began to scour the world proselytizing about paradise. Upon this large island a city was seemingly built faster than any human city ever before it. There was abundant food, housing, fresh clean water, and everyone had purpose. The priests of this ‘Godhead’ say it is an Angel sent by the gods themselves to establish a great utopia for all those deserving. The priests state that those who wish must only journey to the gates of the city to be welcomed. Anyone who is not worthy shall be taken somewhere to be absolved, and in time rejoin with the rest of society. However a priest of another church has grown greatly suspicious of this ‘Godhead’. He is especially worried because one of his acolytes had recently begun a crisis of faith. Dissatisfied and seeking more, this acolyte announced he was traveling to see the ‘Godhead’ and the great city it built. He claimed if he found truth to it he would return and proclaim it. That was two years ago.
