Publisher's blurb: The Pit & the Pendulum is Edgar Allan Poe's most spine-chilling tale, and now it has been adapted for play! It is designed to be played by one DM, and one player as a solo adventure. Every effort has been made to preserve the integrity of the story, and nearly the entire original text is contained herein. There are also three homebrew magic items inspired by the brutal machinations of The Pit & the Pendulum!
