From the introduction: Formerly a haven of magical study, this complex is now a decayed, monster-haunted ruin. Due to a spell gone horribly wrong, its mages are now degenerate ghouls, feasting on the flesh of any treasure hunter foolhardy enough to seek out their secrets.
