From the Introduction: The game was written for the 2012 RPG Geek 24-Hour RPG Contest. The Oathbreakers is universal GM-less roleplaying system about society and escalation of cultural conflicts. It is best played with four or five players with a taste for light rules, narrative-driven gameplay, tension and drama. The default setting is Irthyndell, the City of Oaths. All gameplay terms are tied to the setting, and all examples assume playing in Irthyndell, but after you get the hang of the game, you can come up with your own setting.
