The Nature of the Beast

From publisher blurb: The last wolf of England was hunted to exitinction over a hundred years ago so when a woodsman discovered the carcass of a sheep in Hobbs Hill woods he believed some supernatural beast was at large. Lord Perfleet was preoccupied with other matters. His daughter had gone missing and with the news of slaughtered livestock he was faced with the stark prospect of his own child being a victim of the creature. He summoned a priest; he would know what to do.
