Background: Mineral extraction station Lansal T458-D9 was established after the discovery of a large deposit of the rare mineral megathroxium. The Lansal corporation sent a small outfit of living crew members to oversee a number of bots. Mining prospects appeared to be promising at first. Communication suddenly ceased from the station, however, and a Lansal shuttle and its crew were attacked by what appeared to be the assigned security bots. Fearing the worst, the Lansal corporation is seeking someone to assess the situation.
