User summary: The Magnificent Monstrous Database, in its fifth iteration, contained over 2,500 monsters - all derived from commercial ("official") sources published by TSR. The database included the salient "stats" of monsters but not their descriptions, etc. Various database forms, etc., were provided in order to modify, randomize, and print monster data for campaign use. The product was published as data files with accompanying documentation (introduction and index) in RTF format. The final version of the database ("5th Edition") was offered in A20, A70, and ASCII format.
