From the introduction: Yeld is a role-playing game and a storytelling game. Each player will take on the role of a child character called a Friend, deciding what that Friend will say and do during our game sessions. Each game session one player will also take on the duties of the Game Master. The Game Master will guide the other players through a story full of challenges and monsters. At the end of the session the players will receive rewards that they can use to improve their Friends’ skills and equipment. Each session a different player will take on the duties of the Game Master, and over several sessions players will work together to tell the story of how their Friends discovered the door to Yeld, became Heroes and defeated the vampire prince Dragul!
