The Linguist

Publisher's blurb: A gnome clutching an ancient parchment utters manifestations and ripples of arcane protection sweep out to caress his allies. A gaunt human female steps in front of the smug politician and begins to speak dark tidings upon the man. Within moments, he is a crumpled figure. Completely undone. Linguists are masters of verbal arcane energy. In ages past, an entire language existed that spoke magic into the world around it. All but the faintest traces of this language have been purged from the material plane, but you have made a discovery which is allowing the secrets to slowly become revealed. The Linguist is a fully developed, levels 1-20, casting class for 5th Edition. The class uses the basic framework of the Warlock class, but with a decidedly arcane path and more of a support roll in general.
