The Leaf Ire

From publisher blurb: He caught broken and incoherent whispers in a strange tongue from among the trees on either side, yet he partly understood. They seemed to him fragmentary utterances of a monstrous conspiracy against his body and soul. Reports from the depths of the countryside, of haunting presences and interminable terrors, attract the wandering eye of the Dee Sanction as hints of some baleful shade or the hand of a treacherous necromancer. Yet the menace and mystery are potentially stranger still—the Leaf Ire, a twisted manifestation of lost souls.
