From the introduction: Opening Scene: The Training Ground for the Emerald Champion’s troops. The field has been covered with silk pavilions for the tournament, offering shade and shelter to the contestants. The PCs and the various NPC contestants are gathered together on the field, where they enjoy a chance to circulate and role-play before the contest begins. Besides the PCs, the following other contestants are here to vie for the Jade Championship.
