The Jackdaw

From publisher blurb: When a habitual shoplifter reaches adulthood, she becomes fearful that gettiing caught will land her some "real" prison time and cost her all of her beautiful things. Inspired by a news story about a costumed criminal escaping with a priceless treasure, she devoted herself and her considerable collection of stolen goods to finding someone who could craft the perfect super criminal identity for her. Since then, the winged JACKDAW has become one of the most elusive jewel thieves and cat burglars the city has ever known!
