The Hermit

From the publisher: Lodash, one of the realm’s most renowned Sages wandered into the mountains of his own accord, leaving civilization behind. He refuses the King’s summons, and threatens the King’s rule by his defiance. The King needs adventurers to follow the road into the mountains in quest of the elusive hermit, and to bring him to heel. But the road of adventure is many forked and deadly, and where it leads will surprise even the most veteran of players. One of Gygax’s most original adventure modules. The Hermit leads the adventuring party on a wildly unique journey, complete with a maze, riddles, deadly traps, clever and dangerous monsters and it all ends in a world turned on its head. This is classic play at its best.
