The Helhest

From publisher blurb: Hel rides about on a three-legged horse, destroying men. — Jacob Grimm Denmark has its own type of church grim, with its own powers. Formerly associated with Hel, the Norse goddess of the dead, the Helhest is the ghost of a horse sacrificed to protect a new graveyard. Woe to those who encounter one, for they will not live long.
