From the introduction: "Just outside of Louisville, Kentucky there is an old hotel with a troubling secret. Guests regularly check in for the evening, but far fewer check out in the morning. From the outside, it looks like a normal luxury hotel with a detached convention center situated nearby. The rooms are clean and well appointed, one beside the other down a very long hall. While the sun is shining, it's business as usual; travellers [sic] come and go, maids make the beds, and kids splash around in an enormous pool. But woe betide the guest who leaves their room in the middle of the night. The warning on the back of the door, right above the fire escape map, reads: 'Please remain in room after midnight. Do not unlock your doors!' But what are you supposed to do when you wake up and your companion has gone missing?" This is a kickstarter exclusive for Purgatory House based on a real-life hotel with a disturbing floor plan. Characters should be travelers who have stopped for the night, each with a traveling companion.
