The Guard

From publisher blurb: Not all who learn the arts of combat seek to use them. In civilized lands, where people might live their entire lives without once coming under the threat of the blade or the claw, there are still many reasons people study the martial arts. Wether it be as a deterant against conflict; or protection from war, theft or crime; or for the purpose of detection and detention of criminals, many jobs exist for the strong, intimidating or dangerous who do not choose to seek out trouble for themselves. The Guard is a class enabled for conflict, but for those individuals who seek a more ordinary life.
