From the introduction: The concept of ghosts permeates every culture around the world; stories of chilling revenge, lost loves, and dark deeds echo like time capsules across history. Witnessing a sighting is rarely believed, with the existence of spirits being a hotbed of debate throughout the centuries. Within The Great Healer, Investigators will witness phantoms of past and future events that surround the murder of a wayward cultist, Constance Battersay, as she tries to leave The Glutton Club, leading to a time loop from which those trapped within may never escape. While investigating the sudden vanishing of a tourist in modern day Boston Harbour, the Investigators will be thrown into different eras. They will have to uncover a story of betrayal while navigating each time period to escape the looping paradox of Constance’s flawed spell, while they are unwittingly stalked by the ever-watchful Void Hunt who prey on those out of time This scenario is intended for 2 - 5 Investigators and can take two to three sessions (8-12 hours) to complete.
