The Frostpine Horror

Publisher's blurb: The players visit an old mentor from their pre-Epic adventuring days, who has requested their presence to pass on his personal sword, Equalizer, as a final gesture symbolizing his imminent retirement. Living in seclusion, Colonel Bartimaeus Maximar has taken up residence in the woods of Frostpine, well away from the turbulence of civilized life. However, what he intended to be a quiet retirement has instead turned into a gruesome tale of fear, depravity and corruption. User summary: For Epic characters above 20th level.
