From the introduction: The Final Countdown is intended for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 20. Characters who complete this adventure will earn an epic boon. A massive rift has appeared in the center of Valhenge and threatens to destroy the world. This campaign takes place in Arden, although it can be set in your own world. Any party composition should be able to finish the adventure with intelligent play.
