From Introduction: This is the second of three adventures set within the Ashes of Athas Dark Sun campaign. In AOA1-1: The Worth of a Slave a secret society known as the True annihilated the Veiled Alliance organization in Tyr. The PCs fled Tyr by infiltrating a slave caravan. There they helped their cell leader, Sartaj, escape to Altaruk. The PCs likely expect Altaruk to be a safe haven. Nothing could be further from the truth.
