From the introduction: It is a roleplaying system designed to teach and encourage immersive roleplay, placing the players into a heroic drama within the theatre of the mind, filled with danger and glory. It is setting-agnostic; easily adapting to any world, while excelling at epic fantasy storytelling. Players will adopt the role of a Hero, while one will instead adopt the role of the Singer. The Heroes will be the central focus of the saga at hand, which will be sung by the Singer, who recants the story itself. Together these will act out exciting scenes and stories, and call upon the Muse; the three will weave together a Living Saga, one Epic of Dreams.
