From the introduction: This is an unusual encounter designed to give your players something new in a dungeon delve. Deep within an ancient dungeon of a long-lost civilization is an automaton (or Warforged if you are playing Eberron) that was once the host of an ancient form of entertainment. Rather than compete in coliseum-style combat, this competition was one of cooking. After centuries without contestants, the automaton is eager to perform its primary functions again. So when the party stumbles in, they will find that they have to compete in a cooking competition to receive the prize. The only problem is that all the ingredients are centuries old, and most of the judges aren't dead. Its a fun puzzle to shake things up and bring some lightheartedness to your group's adventure!
