From Introduction: The Depths of Greed is an adventure scenario designed for three to six characters of any class. In this adventure, the characters stumble upon a massacre at an isolated roadside inn and get swept up in the defense of its survivors. After fending off a brutal assault from the highway brigands, the players venture to their isolated lair along the windswept shores of the Barren Sea, and there unearth an ancient secret. While we break a contemporary cardinal rule of not starting an adventure in an inn, we decided we wanted to show how the trope could still be used if done well. Six premade characters are provided at the end of this module for your use. We would love to hear about your group’s adventure on our forums, and if any of you continue your N.R.G. campaign beyond this module, we would love (love!) to hear about that as well!
