From the introduction: Every journey begins somewhere, and most who venture to BloodStone Isle begin theirs by entering FreeBoot Landing. After materializing out of the Tempest, this region is unique, having only an isthmus connecting it to the mainland. Even so, this land bridge is almost always submerged about a foot or two underwater. On rare occasions it will appear as a dry sandy path.
