The Collected Pits & Perils

Complete Rules for Medieval Fantasy Role-Play Publisher's blurb: SPECIAL COLLECTOR'S EDITION This is a hardcover collection of the original Pits & Perils rulebooks (available here on Lulu) and contains PREVIOUSLY-RELEASED MATERIAL, being meant for collectors wanting something nice for their bookshelves: Pits & Perils recalls a time when role-playing was still an amateur affair; something created by friends for their own enjoyment. These early games were simple and open-ended, with plenty of grey area for the players to fill in with their own imagination! Herein are rules for creating characters, building dungeons, and running campaigns in a world where magic works and monsters are real. So become a mighty warrior or spell-casting wizard. Or create incredible worlds as the referee. The choice is yours. Realms of fantasy awaits you here... Includes the original rulebook, both official supplements, and the 18-page HOUSE RULES FROM YERTH, adding new material from the authors' own campaign!
