The Charcoaler's Ransom

Publisher's blurb: This adventure features one of my favorite villains, Margesh Blackblood. He is always plotting and scheming to take advantage of a situation and turn it into coin. He's done it again. He's captured the local charcoaler, Samuel, and all the charcoal he made. This has crippled the town's economy and forced Lord Garrison to take action. Action meaning, send the adventuring party. This is one of those adventures where combat should be a last resort. Getting into a fight with Lord Garrison or Blackblood's men could prove costly. This adventure relies on a party to use their wits and come up with a solution to the problem that doesn't result in bloodshed. But of course, if a bloodbath is what the party wants, give it to them!
