The Breed Mother

From publisher blurb: “This body is not my own. It once served, but now it can’t. I had worth, but now I don’t. I am a vase without flowers. A vessel without weight.” The Breed Mother once gave birth to a bevy of children. So many, she lost count. She served someone powerful, giving him lots of children. Maybe she served another as well. It’s been so long ago, she’s forgotten. But then Breed Mother’s womb grew barren. Empty. Fallow. And now, she’s alone. Note: This character addresses dark and troublesome themes. It is not for everyone.
