From the introduction: Sikhism is a relatively new religion in Sahasra, at least when compared to the other major faiths of Hinduism and Jainism. Th e religion was founded a mere 600 years ago by a man named Nanak. His teachings were built upon by nine successive gurus, not all of whom were human. Th is system of religious philosophy and expression has been traditionally known as the Gurmat (literally the teachings of the gurus) or the Sikh Dharma.
