From Introduction: Magic has got to be one of the greatest unknowns in any game. There are so many different ways to approach it that I’m sure it’d be hard to please everyone. So we have included a spell list in here for you. To determine how many Magic Points (MP) a player gets we just simply multiply their INT MSB times 5. This determines how many MP a player receives at the start of character creation. While you say “Wait a sec, magic uses WILL” it requires smarts to learn it.
