The Asylum

Publisher's blurb: The Asylum, the name suggests a place of safety and respite, but often they are far from it. From the horrors of early psychiatric 'care' in the 18th century through the periods of reform in the 19th century and into the 1920s and even the modern era, Asylums have captured the imagination of authors and GMs alike.
