The Astral Paladin

From publisher blurb: When last we saw Planet Rigel, the wizards of the equatorial empire had used magic to accidentally destroy the planet, and refugees were fleeing to Earth to survive. But now another wizard has managed to summon a warrior from the very same Planet Rigel... but a million years in the future! Of course, not everyone would call this warrior a "paladin."
