The Ashes from the Burnéd Book

User summary: The rules of this peculiar free-form game are provided as a poem. The game focuses on narrative development of a "post apocalyptic" experience of individuals who share a common core belief system. The rules are open to considerable interpretation. The MP3 version presents the rules in audio format. The DOC and PDF versions (content identical) provide the rules in verse format but also provide a fairly extensive line-by-line commentary on the rules which - somewhat - explains how play is envisioned. A separate three-page DOC-format document presents designer's notes. By nearly any standard, the game would be considered avant-garde if not experimental.
