The Adventure Academy (SF)

From the introduction: Whether you’re a student learning the ropes of your adventuring trade or an expert researching your dissertation on the mysterious ruins of a lost civilization, adventure academies are an effective way to advance your adventuring career. Academies are where the majority of a civilization’s learning is preserved and passed on to future generations, handed by educated experts to an eager generation to be further analyzed and refined until it is ready to be passed on again.
