A crewman yelled in excitement, pointing to the sky at flocking birds and then to the shadowy outline of land further into the foggy distance. Your charts showed no land where you were. Could this be the lost ‘Tentacle Island’ you had been searching for? The legend spoke of a strange tentacled beast that guarded the island from trespassers. Your team sailed in with caution with harpoon and ballista at the ready. With no apparent danger, your team set out on a smaller boat to go ashore. Strange noises could be heard all around as you rowed up to the small island to find an actual dock awaiting your arrival. Quickly tying off the small craft, you stepped onto the island. That was the last thing you can remember.
