From publisher blurb: The Heroic Overseer acts as a mentor and guide to other heroes. The Heroic Overseer could do this as a cosmic guardian with a legion of followers, a watcher beyond the world gently and invisibly guiding the course of action for heroes across the world, a mystic teacher empowering a team of champions or dozens of other types of individuals. The common thread is that, unlike others who concentrate on throwing themselves into the fray with atomic punches and super-laser blasts, the Heroic Overseer provides much needed support and bolstering to their allies, working diligently behind the scenes so that others can reach their full potential on center stage.
