Techs-Arcana Quick-Start Adventure

From the introduction: Our tale begins, as tales sometimes do, in a seedy inn and ale house in Dunby, a village of no great renown. In the Squeaky Wheel Tavern, the various characters (all unknown to each other) happen to be gathered. The tavern crowd is subdued, populated mainly by dour local farmers and laborers in small groups, murmuring over mugs of ale about the day’s events. It is dimly lit, and a haze of smoke hangs in the air from tobacco and the stove. At one table sits an unremarkable pair of travelers, an older man and his younger companion.
