Tapas: The Sampling

User summary: This distinctive game presents several mini-games. The first is a quite amusing and intriguing scenario - player characters are game designers at a convention on a panel. Characters are "real" designers, determined by random roll. Thus, players may end up with characters such as Gary Gygax, Marc Miller, Steffan O'Sullivan, Kevin Siembieda, or Greg Stafford! The panel discussion will design a game, following the preferential input of the noted designers-cum-characters. The theme and ingredients of the game are selected from a newspaper (an unusual randomizer). The game is played with a time constraint representing the time spent in a series of panel discussions at a convention.
