From the introduction: The typical Dungeons & Dragons group has one DM & four players. Most adventures from WotC and home-brew sites like this one are balanced around this figure. But I’ve always struggled to find that many people who both want to play and have time to play. In fact, my usual party is two players and one DM, but I often play with just one player. I know I’m not alone in having a small group, especially right now as we’re all stuck at home during this pandemic. So I gathered a group of really talented authors and artists to put together this volume; a set of adventures that can be played with just one DM and one player.
