From the Rulebook Sword and Shield is for individual combat in the medieval word of Acquitaine, and deals with realistic combat (jousts, tourneys, trial by combat and actual melee combat) as well as some of the fantastic denizens of Acquitaine. It is also the character generation booklet for the game series ACQUITAINE. The book dealing with magic and monsters, THE RED BOOK OF NAL, is also in the same series. User Summary Sword & Shield is a rulebook for fantasy combat at various scales using miniature figures. The rules state they are based upon the Acquitaine novel, Shadowstalker, and stories of Eril Shadowstalker and Windsinger. The rules cover individual combat, mass combat, jousting, sieges, and siege equipment. The 40-page rulebook includes a pull-out reference sheet.
