The game has a unique dice system (using d4s-d12s) to resolve most tasks. It also features lightning fast tactical combat, incorporating both square and hex grids to simulate hand-to-hand and ship-to-ship skirmishes. Three modes of play are available to players including: Guided, with one player as a GM. GM-less, using random story prompts and encounters. And a Skirmish mode, with player vs. player battling it out.
