Modifiers are at the referee's discretion, weapons and armour are simplified, alternate rules for vehicles, it still uses the lifepath generation but modifiers are ignored in favour of referee interpretation. Another alternate rules-light system (Arneson-style) is also described. Characteristics are rolled but only recorded as below-average, avergae, or above average. Characters follow lifepath generation but only the skills earned are recorded, not the numbers. Characters have 4 hits, referee dtermines number of hits suffered in combat.
