From the introduction: Imagine having the ability to create fire from nothing, or instantaneously being able to heal the sick or make things move with your mind. Imagine if you could turn invisible or turn people to mice or monsters. This is the essence of magic, the mystery of being able to create anything you can imagine. Magic and Superpowers in the Sundered Epoch are designed to be extremely flexible yet provide the character with abilities that can be spectacular. The Narrator may not allow magic or superpowers in his or her setting, so you should talk to the Narrator before choosing the Magic skill or any magical ability (like psychic abilities, mind control etc).
