User Summary Steel Panthers III is a turn-based tactical wargame simulating battles from 1939 to 1999. SP III has all the features of its predecessors (turn-based combat on an hexagon grid map, scenario and campaign editor, armies and weapons encyclopedia, historical and fictional battles and campaigns, random scenario generator) but this time focuses on the higher echelon: units are platoon-sized and the game includes mechanics to simulate command and control at the brigade level.
