Starr Power

From publisher blurb: Bright Lights! Big City! Angela Starr was singing at local events by the age of five, and at ten she starred in her first television series. While on live camera, Angela had a meta-transition absorbing the sound from a deafening feedback squelch on the speakers, and producing light and energy! Being only fourteen at the time, Angela’s world was turned upside down. She spent most of her time at the Sheppard Academy, learning to control her newfound powers. At one point, having been doxed by a hateful former producer, Angela was attacked by an anti-Meta hate group. This resulted in a violent encounter with the Coalition for Humanity. After several laser burns, the Coalition was forced to retreat, and a “fresh-from-the-fight” paparazzi photograph made Angela the newest heroine of Los Angeles: Starr Power! (PL 9) Super Powered Legends. Because sometimes you a need a character everyone recognizes, even when meeting them for the first time.
