Star Voyager is a spaceship game for the Atari 2600 by Imagic. It is similar to, but not the same as, Star Voyager by Acclaim Entertainment for the NES. Kids and many adults seemed to love watching anything that contained grand space battles when this game was first released to the North American public. Star Wars and its sequels are the most obvious to come to mind but there was Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and shows like Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Similar games to this were: Star Raiders, The Earth Dies Screaming and Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator.
