Each player takes the part of a starship captain and crew, taking on dangerous missions, negotiating with filthy intergalactic hustlers, buying starship upgrades which may or may not be legal, fighting off bloodthirsty pirates (or lawyers, or spacepikeys), and generally attempting to become as rich and powerful as possible through any means at their disposal.
